But begs the question, are bananas universally slippery? Like, does every culture think banana peels cause hilarious accidents?

In the US we grew up watching cartoons full of slapstick banana shenanigans.

And I guess in Japan, Nintendo obviously thought bananas were a good weapon for Mario Kart.
